To be eligible to vote for these positions you must be a member live filed to that Org (6 or 10)

ANNUAL PLANT GATE COLLECTION FOR CHRISTMAS HAMPER FUND

On Wednesday, December 11th and Thursday, December 12th, Unifor Local 2301 volunteers will once again be at the “A” gate, Wharf gate and APP gate for the annual Christmas hamper drive.

Monies collected are donated to the Kitimat Help Agency, which purchases food hampers for the needy families of our community.

Support for Sensible BC Referendum

The following motion to post was passed at the Membership meeting held on Thursday, September 26th at the Union hall:

“Whereas Unifor 2301 is a socially conscience and a socially active union and

Whereas Sensible BC is trying to change the laws on how people are treated when in possession of cannabis and use through referendum and

VACATION SCHEDULING

As you may be aware the Company has instituted a new vacation scheduling policy that in our opinion contradicts the Collective Labour Agreement and the past practice.

We have spent the last number of days trying to mitigate this issue, but the Company has just informed us that they will continue with vacation scheduling according to how they interpret the Collective Labour Agreement.
